No. STAR WARS Zero Company is a single-player game. EA explicitly rules out online competitive multiplayer, online co-op, local or split-screen co-op and other online social features. One player controls the company; a four-operator squad does not mean four human players.

What the squad format means
The game is built around turn-based tactical decisions made by one player. You choose operators and command the team rather than assigning individual characters to separate players. The presence of multiple companions is part of squad management, not a multiplayer lobby.
If you are looking for a game to play through together with friends online or on one couch, do not buy this one on the assumption that co-op is hidden behind campaign progress. The official feature description does not offer that mode.

Is split-screen or cross-play available?
There is no local or split-screen co-op in the official feature list. With no multiplayer mode to connect, a cross-play promise between PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S would also be misleading. Platform availability and shared multiplayer sessions are separate concepts.
For the supported hardware and storefronts, see release date and platforms. For the number of characters controlled in combat, see squad size.

Single-player is not an offline guarantee
The absence of multiplayer does not mean every installation or platform service works without internet access. Downloads, updates and account or platform requirements can still apply. Steam lists EA-account and account-linking terms alongside the game’s single-player features.
If you encounter a sign-in or launch problem, refer to the support instructions for your storefront and EA’s common-issues guide. Do not interpret a service requirement as evidence that a co-op mode exists.
