Hawks commands Zero Company alongside a cast of story operators with their own backgrounds. The featured company includes Trick, Tel-Rea Vokoss, Cly Kullervo, Luco Bronc, Jae Mordant and Kabb Uppercut. These characters coexist with custom recruits; a roster slot and a character’s story identity are not the same thing.

The official introductions establish the following backgrounds without revealing an ending or promising that every character is available for every mission.

Hawks and custom recruits
Hawks is the player’s customizable former Republic officer. Appearance, voice and standard Specialization can be tailored, but Hawks remains the campaign protagonist. Story missions require Hawks; if Hawks dies, the mission fails and must be restarted.
Custom recruits help fill tactical gaps in the company. They do not replace every authored character identity: creating a recruit does not make them another Tel-Rea or unlock Jedi as an ordinary class. Most standard Specializations can be changed at The Den, so review a character’s unique talents and the current squad role separately.

Bonds are about the team, not romance
There are no romance routes. Bonds instead represent cooperation and development between operators. Call for Backup lets an eligible operator bring a teammate into the next attack, while Cross-training provides lasting progression benefits.
Arekkz Gaming’s preview notes that a Medic’s healing and support can help create opportunities to develop Bonds. That observation is a reason to pay attention to cooperation, not evidence that every relationship must be progressed through the same class. A voice credit is not a recruitment promise
StarWars.com’s cast announcement includes Anakin Skywalker, voiced in English by Matt Lanter. An announced performance does not establish that the character joins the permanent playable roster. Treat cast lists as credits, not unlock instructions.
